This Centre provides specialism in water based activities and working with young people at risk.  The Centre also provides curriculum support programmes for schools and youth service over seven days including school holidays.

The Delamont Centre provides water-based training and activities for young people and staff in a range of activities including Powerboating; canoeing; Stand up Paddle boarding and sailing. The Centre works closely with the Royal Yacht Association (RYA) in the delivery of its sailing and powerboating training programmes.

The development of a new campsite within the Centres private walled garden has created a safe space for young people to come and experience camping and to engage with the natural environment developing camp and bush craft skills.  This is a great location to start a Duke of Edinburgh Award programme to held develop the basic skills of camping before embarking on the journey from Bronze to Gold Awards.

Accomodation

Delamont can cater for 60 young people with accompanying leaders across 2 buildings.  There is a number of small group work rooms, social areas and a large dining hall and lounge for your group to congregate during the evening time.

Delamont also has a purpose built campsite located within the walled orchard and can accomodate 10 tents.  There are two “2-person” staff cabins available within the campsite as well as a toilet block.  The campsite has a campfire located in the middle of the orchard, perfect for a campfire singalong or toasting smores.
