Ghosting (or booing)

No we aren’t recommending “ceasing all communication and contact with a partner, friend, or similar individual without any apparent warning or justification and subsequently ignoring any attempts to reach out or communicate made by said partner, friend, or individual.” – Wikipedia.

But actually a really fun activity that can replace Trick or Treating and spread some cheer around your area or neighbourhood.

The activity is really simple you create two bags full of sweets and other treats and put a set of Ghosting (or booing) instructions inside – see below. And you run-up to a neighbours house and put the bag of treats on their doorstep, ring the doorbell and run away. The instructions then tell them to pass it forward to two other neighbours or friends and leave 2 bags of treats at their doors. The great thing is you can do this any time in the lead up to Halloween and not just on Halloween night and it’s much better for practicing social distancing and reducing the contact we have with others.

This tradition came out of America and if you want to see exact details of how to do it why not click the link below:

And whilst your at it when you are creating your bags of treats why not make them extra spooking and check out the link below of how to create haunted house paper bags.
